A website can cost very little to a bunch. It depends on what you want to accomplish with the website. Generally all websites have a monthly charge for hosting. Usually you pay annually and can save some money if you purchase a few years at a time.
It does cost extra to include monitored security, backups, and upgrades (to server and website) as needed. This is something you can also save money on if you choose to self manage and forgo cybersecurity and backups (this is not recommended).
