I am a marketing and business growth consultant. People have called me a “brilliant” marketer and yes, there are times that I can come up with what can seem like a “brilliant” idea.
It is a great talent to have, and I enjoy it. But the truth is, most of my brilliance is just proven strategy and simple procedures and tweaks most anyone can do. If you have a business I’ve probably got some strategy or step sequence that can help you increase sales, customers, and income.
My History in Business
I have a long history of direct selling that goes back to early childhood. Knocking on doors selling cookies, comic books, and myself ~ for odd jobs that is 😉
Early on I was drawn by my internal entrepreneurial spirit but it took a few years to truly embrace it. Although I did what many do and worked for the “others”, the desire to develop businesses and earn as much as I could, was always a part of me. Even while working as an employee for various companies I would often have my “side” businesses. As much as I was hooked on the feeling of security offered by working for another, I hated the “limited income”. Every paycheque was the same so having a small business on the side was a frequent occurrence.
Among my cache of success stories you will learn that I helped to start an electrical business. On my advice they put out their shingle charging over double the nearest competitors rate. Using a few of my signature direct marketing strategies they made over $70K in the first few months and kept on growing.
Another success is a man who was out of work as a carpet salesman. Now he has his own carpet flooring business. He has NO store, NO inventory, and NO office. He runs a successful and highly competitive “shop-at-home” style business with just a website and a cell phone.

One day after a much needed break up with my employer I knew I could never work for another dope again.
The first step to independence and entrepreneurial success was to get out of the drab and dreary little town I was living in which meant I had to sell my house. I was living in a blue collar industrial town who’s main industry had shut down. When I called the real estate agent, who I used to buy the house a few years prior, he told me it was not a sunny outlook. Houses that DID sell took (on average) 2.5 years to sell. He did not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. To compound the dismal outlook he told me that IF my house sold it would be for half of what I wanted for it.
